Evidence Atlas

Graded longevity interventions

How grading works

Every intervention carries an evidence tier from A to C. Tier is never signalled by colour alone: each card states the level in text, shows a three-segment confidence meter, and carries a coloured top stripe as a secondary cue.

Level AStrong evidence
Level BModerate evidence
Level CEmerging evidence

Featured interventions

6 of 73 records
  • Category: GenomicsGenomicsINT-0001

    Partial Epigenetic Reprogramming (OSK)

Mouse studies show restored vision, muscle and cognitive function; Altos Labs, Retro Biosciences and NewLimit pursuing translation. No human data yet.

    Status

    Preclinical; heavy industry investment

    Level CEmerging evidence
  • Category: GenomicsGenomicsINT-0002

    Telomerase Gene Therapy (AAV-hTERT)

Extended median lifespan in mice without raising cancer incidence in the original study; human use remains investigational and largely unregulated.

    Status

    Preclinical / early experimental

    Level CEmerging evidence
  • Category: GenomicsGenomicsINT-0003

    PCSK9 Base Editing

VERVE-101/-102 early-phase human data show durable LDL reduction — a proof of concept for one-and-done cardiovascular risk reduction relevant to healthspan.

    Status

    Phase I human data reported

    Level CEmerging evidence
  • Category: GenomicsGenomicsINT-0004

    Follistatin Gene Therapy

Robust muscle-preserving effects in animal models; human use confined to small experimental programs.

    Status

    Experimental

    Level CEmerging evidence
  • Category: GenomicsGenomicsINT-0005

    Klotho Upregulation

Higher Klotho associates with longevity and cognition in humans; delivery approaches (gene therapy, secretagogues) are preclinical.

    Status

    Preclinical

    Level CEmerging evidence
  • Category: GenomicsGenomicsINT-0006

    CRISPR Somatic Gene Editing

Rapid clinical progress in targeted indications (transthyretin amyloidosis, NTLA-2001) proves durable in-vivo editing is feasible; broad aging application remains aspirational.

    Status

Late-stage in specific diseases; aging use conceptual

    Level CEmerging evidence
